It is not official, as the birthday boy's birthday is next Monday 4/25... (but close enough)

This past weekend we celebrated Kingston's third birthday to avoid a congested Easter weekend.

I thought that this Pirate phase would have ended by now, but it continues to go on and on...

I don't mind it!

Actually I lOVE what his little mind creates with his pirate stories.

Love this little man!

We had a small group of boys gather together for a bit of Pirate sword making (robbie's creativness, made out of pvc pipe, spray paint and stickers) A game of pin the patch on the Pirate and an instant find of the treasure chest full of goodie bags. (I couldn't bring myself to finish the real treasure hunt planned)

We had a beautiful day

for a BBQ of Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Brats, fruit, pasta salad and CHIPS. (of course)

The Cake was a hit for the Birthday boy!

What a lucky boy!

Kingston is always seen with a sword, or two.

It was a great day, much love from family and friends who came to celebrate our little boy's third Birthday!

It is crazy to think how fast these three years have gone.

I remember expecting this little boy and feeling the ultimate excitement of having a little boy. I would have never expected that he would want to dress up in hero capes and pirate outfits, carry a gun or sword all day long.

I expected cars, army men and legos (which he loves these too)His mind is a world of creative wonders ready to burst!

Kingston loves to color/draw, he Lovves to dig (his birthday present, a sand box) Loves rocks and sticks and could play outside all day! He loves to say prayers, give kisses, hugs and cuddles.

He never wants to grow BIG, if someone says "oh you are such a big boy".. he scowls and starts whinning that "he never wants to grow up", "i'm not a big boy, I am little"!

Don't mess with the big/little stuff.

When he wakes up Robbie and I always look at each other and wonder if he will be grumpy or happy.

Lately he is grumpy alll the time with moments of sweetness.

We love him no matter what, even if he scowls and is a grumpy bum!

I could go on and on about our little boy, but I will save you all from the gushiness of mom.

We are so grateful for Kingston in our family and feel so blessed to be his parents!

Soccer

First Soccer practice:

London has ventured into Soccer this season, and she loves it!

Recently she told her aunties and grandma that she runs fast like a "super hero".

I just have to chuckle, because she is experiencing a whole new game, a whole new adventure!

If you know my London she is very girly, but loves to play hard with the boys.

I decided to put her on an all girls team for that very reason..... a distraction of BOYS.

The first practice went well, although we caught her picking up the ball with her hands and running it to a spot where she would drop it and then kick it, but she did great.

It is fun to see these little people try new things, can I say it is slightly entertaining?!

London's first game is this Saturday and after several practices all the girls are getting the hang of soccer! It helps that they have a great coach!

We are looking forward to grabbing our lawn chairs, snacks and hanging out at the soccer fields on Saturday afternoons..YAY!

Set into action.... TOUNGE and all.......:)

The New Do.....

Sooo here's the thing, we have our little guy excited to get a hair cut!

We have a mailer, for Great Cuts a whooping deal of $2.99, he's excited and wants Spike hair

like dad's... we go, get the cut and ohhh how handsome he looks.

The next morning he wants the spikes to be gone and wants his old hair back!

This makes me sad, because I loved his hair too...."Justin Beberish". Oh well, we will stick with his

new hair til it grows out again, but what a difference.....

a cut can really change someones look!

Kingston had many faces,

one, he was making some on purpose in the mirror to himself and second, some of awkward

interest. This was his first hair cut in the salon.

My little stud and his Thomas the Train watch.. he is obsessed!

Don't mind his attire... he found a pair of my maternity compressed stockings and decided to run

around in them. Ohhh what a bliss of fun!

I guess I didn't mention we moved, did I?!!!!

That is another post, along with all of last fall I need to catch up on!

We bought our first home, here in Vegas..........

and we love it!

Sunday Drives

Sunday drives are the BEST! Last Sunday our drive took us to the Hoover Dam. We were curious to how the progress of the bridge construction crossing over to Arizona was coming along..... the rumor has it, they are planning on opening it up in November.

London & Kingston LOVED it, they as usual were very curious... and wanted to know what was below. Many times they were picked up to look over the edge... I'm not afraid of heights, but for some reason the DAm always makes me a little uneasy. All went well

Kingston is crazed about pirates, this is his everyday look. He has several swords he chooses from day to day... I'll ask him why he has a cut or bruise, his answer: " It was the Pirates mommy", "The pirates did it" or better yet, "London did it".

Without a doubt, he will be our pirate boy for halloween!

Kingston's birthday was perfect...

perfect in the sense that is was low key.

I keep telling myself

that I need to post pictures, and I do!(need to post pictures)

I am just in a rut, you know those ruts......., say a home contractor gets in...

he has a home to remodel, his own home

and

well, he finds that all his time and energy is put into remodeling homes for others, not his own!

This is the predictament I am in,

however..... I am not a contractor, but a photographer

Yes... and

that means I have piles of files of pictures,

waiting to be loved in the blogging world.

Sorry Grandparents, you of all would just love to see them....

Thats another story!

Which brings me back to Kingston and his Birthday -------->

We have a shy one on us..... I like to say bashful, just sounds better.
The whole time we sang to him, he got so embarrassed and looked away, his face blossomed with rose colored checks. (too cute)

Totally the opposite of Loo!

I just can't get enough of this little man...

Awe... he is just a sweetie!

So sweet to London, even though she rarely shares anything with him,

he always shares with her.

I will be holding him, and he will randomly give me kisses (multiple times)

His hugs are nice and tight, he looooves to dance,

play with swords and loves to dress up in his super capes/Batman mask.

He is a stud!

A little on the skinny side.....

So really,

is it such a big deal that my children are on the slimmer side of the " weight chart".

This is nothing new,

London has always been "under weight",

and currently still is!

Kingston's 2 year check up brought this annoying .....gasp

of being under weight.

Gee whizz... I get such a talking to.

I swear I feed my children, actually we snack attack all the time!

We maybe eat a little too much sugar than we really should too(oops!)

Take that doctors!

When London was just a wee one, we freaked about her little eating,

the doctors would drill me on what I feed her.... I became a panic, over conscious mother who found myself pleading with my little appetite eater to eat, eat, eat!

My poor mother and mother in-law had to hear me complain.....

I soon realized after an appointment with a cute pediatrician, who we were booked with accidentally in the same office as our pediatrician gave me a peace of mind. She could sense the overwhelming feelings I felt as we discussed London's history, weight, growth etc..

This doctor came to my level and eased my worries with compassion, sensitivity and reality.

She personally shared that her girls(she had three) were under weight, they have always been little things and she would get the same treatment. She related with me and assured me that it was totally fine!

The reality of a child's growth is that they are growing, they are healthy and they are on their own growth chart, moving upward. It is a shame that expectations are forced upon a general chart for a proper growth. Yes, I agree we need to have some kind of idea where a normal child should be healthy..... but have we forgotten that we are each individuals and we are not always going to be "general", or "normal".... whatever normal is... LOL

My point is, I love my bitties plump or skinny!

The funny thing is that Kingston was a whopping 8lbs 4oz. when he was born

and with in 2 months he

weighed 15lbs.... no joking! He was a chunk.... loved it!

Now he is 25% in weight and he has a great little appetite!

I am a happy Mom, with healthy babies....

That's all that matters to me!

LIFE AFTER SCHOOL

School ended for me YESTERDAY!!! I am thrilled within... more than words could describe!

Kingston turned the BIG 2 almost 3 weeks ago. I was in L.A. for the RAgnar relay and brought home a scrumptious cup cake for a birthday wish for my little man. London has been asking and asking when his Real birthday would be..... I guess her definition of a Birthday is a BIG Party celebration. My dinky cupcake was not quite the right touch... hmmmm???

The real truth is that I lOvE PArties and I love Birthdays... so I couldn't let my busy crazy school and running desires take away from a celebration of my sweet boy... even if it is 3 weeks later (Dugh)!

Tomorrow we will finally celebrate his 2 years of bliss in our family! Just a small get together with family.

I love this little squirt, he has so much personality. I just stare and watch his simple actions throughout the day. He is sweet, kissy sweet, with big cuddle hugs throughout the day... I feel his love for me! He is learning so much everyday and they are not always without a lesson from his big sister. On a daily basis, he wears his batman mask and carries a sword (his favorite thing for the moment) His second or maybe his first love is TOOLS, any tool! This boy has an eye for tools and the screwdriver to say the least. He has a gazillion tools, but that is not enough...right?!

So in preparation for tomorrow

London and I decided to make some

favor bags for the kids.

We made potato stamps with different super hero signs,

along with a K for Kingston.

We ventured with the idea of super hero's,

not that the party has a theme, just wanted to spice it up a bit.

Like I mention, Kingston wears his batman mask everyday, throughout the day!

I wanted to have a costume party,

but decided to wait a few years, where he could really enjoy... and remember it!

so till tomorrow... we are prepping and getting ready

to Party with our little man!

I feel so disconnected from the blogging world (sad face)

but when I'm in school... well I don't exisit in the real world.

I am in a world of my own!

I am finding that I am disconnected from everyone, a loner one might define.

I have about six more weeks till the end of this semester...

I have goals of blogging and

making a record of our families adventures.

I have pictures piled up on my desk top of holidays and moments.

all to be shared... and I failed, at least these last eight months.

I am found, I have found the need to continue our family blog.......

LITTLE GIRLS & TEA PARTIES

What a strange feeling....

It has been ages since I have posted and it feels foreign,

One to be doing something other than school &

Two, being on my blog, blogging (What a miracle this is!)

We are doing great!

I have been searching, finding, buying and cleaning up items

to make a tea party a reality for our little girl.

It was a success.......

Whew! (whipping my brow)

a lot of work, but so fun!

Family days are far and few for us right now,

our schedules are INSANE!

Yes, it is 1:40am and I have received my second wind

and thought I better post while I have a second!

Not that I need to explain... but,I will any way!

Robbie works 6 days a week and when a job comes available he is working his handyman Co.

This results in not seeing much of him,

but to feed his tummy and kiss the kiddos goodnight!

After the kids are in Bed,

I am off to the computer to enjoy my overload of school assignments! BLAH!

Along with EVERYTHING else that consumes ones day this = NO TIME!

I am in no way complaining, just stating that our Adventure

to Mt. Charleston was much needed,

so fun and one of the best days our family has had in months!

Happy Halloween!

This Halloween season is still allowed to

carry on, because it is FALL...

as London would so sweetly put it!

We are still listening/dancing

to the Monster Mash and Little Red Riding Hood

Soo.. this post does not seem over due, as in reality it is! BOO!

As obviously as it is, we have our BATMAN & our Good Witch!

It was fun putting their costumes together!

This little BatMAn is such a stud!

He is growing up so fast, sometimes I have to remind myself he is only 18 months.

His little personality is coming out more and more every day.

He is a cheeky little guy, always giving London a hard time.. he teases her, takes her things and runs away laughing. We have to keep our eyes on this one!

He is so sweet on the other hand and gets so excited about everything.

Halloween was heaven for him!

He loved trick or treating and would carry his bucket around, making sure nobody took it. I caught him eating the candy with the wrappers still around it.

This boy is so funny!

London has been celebrating Halloween since September! She has been a witch on several occasions, dressing up out in public and here at home. As a matter of fact she has had our family on a daily basis as a bat family, vampire family, witch family... you name it we have been that "family", acting our part in her make believe world. There is NEVER a dull moment with our lovey! She has been so excited for Halloween, I was bummed for her when she got sick the week of Halloween. She missed a few school functions, but rested up enough to go out for Halloween!

We love her so much! She has brought so much joy and happiness into our home.... I know the several photos are much, but I couldn't help share her little expressions. She takes her modeling for me VERY serious!

Ragnar Relay Silent Auction

Our relay race is on in 3 WEEKS... Ahhh!

We have an amazing group of women and

one awesome brother in law preparing for this crazy race!

We will be running from the Valley of Fire to

the beautiful Red Rocks just minutes from the busy strip.

The race is 178 miles, ran with a team of 12,

each team member runs 3 legs in all.

this all happens within a 24 hourish period of time.

CRAZY??, some may think this,

Sooo.. in a real quick explanation we want YOU,

We are putting on a Silent Auction

New MUsic

For those of you that are Train fans.... you are more than aware of this new single coming out in October.

I really have not been a HUGE fan of this band.. Why?! I don't know.. I guess I have just been draw to other likes. With that said I have liked a few of their songs in the psat and believe that they have great talent!

Did I mention they are in Nor Cal? San Fransisco to be exact.. so You know me I like, ummm..love em for that fact!

Soo, today I came across their new Album Save me, San Fransisco and this single "HEY SOUL SISTER".... I DIG IT!!

IN THE WORKS

It has been several months since we started this little Project with our cabinets.

(Little is an understatement)

I wish I would have taken a picture of the cabinets before... I think we just got to excited to get working on them we didn't even think about it... duhh!

The last few weekends I have been priming my guts out,

and Robbie's job has been caulking these ridged old cabinets.

We keep asking ourselves why , why did we started this!

Well, we cant turn back now and we must, must, bust these babies out!

We've decide to paint the cabinets white, this is just the first phase..

we still have to paint and add hardware to the doors & drawers.

Hello Hyberspace... take a look into my cabinets and my messy kitchen!

We actually have many projects up our sleeves, or should I say my sleeve?!

I now want to paint our stools and hutch an antuiqe blue,

popping some color around our home!

and then... the Piano.... ohh

We have the piano that came from Robbie's home growing up.

It needs some TLC and we have just the idea for it!!

LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE Else HAD AN IDEA TOO....

While..... I was in the works on the Kitchen,

my little destroyer found the last roll of TP......and more!

Yeah! I was a little upset..

only for the fact that I needed to REALLY use the toilet and it was dripping wet with nothing to use... YUCK.. and I had to empty the TP glob out before I could use it!

(plus I had to take time to get a picture)

A few weeks ago I took the kids to the Tahiti Village... I forgot about these pictures until I came across them the other day. My mom is an owner to these time shares and left her pass for us to enjoy the lazy river, and sandy beach entrance pool. It was fabulous, a little get away!

Lovin Yellow Boots!

Kingston woke up from his afternoon nap, pleading to put on his little yellow galoshes.... how could I resist a little man in a diaper and yellow boots.. BRING IT ON!

He was LOVIN his yellow boots!! He wore them all through dinner and when it was time to go outside... well his yellow boots went too!

A few of Kingston's Expressions..............

Kingston has become such an independent seeker. He has a little temper that flames quite often and usually with a screech that sends you to your funny bone kind of feeling.. totally annoying! We call him the destroyer (London & I) He is constantly into everything, climbing onto everything and making a mess of everything. He loves balls, making baskets with his hoop ( really, he makes awesome baskets!) and even putts a golf ball pretty darn good for a 15 month old.(if you call it putting.. we have video I should post) He has good eye coordination and athletic abilities. Not only does he like to play hard, he loves to sing, dance and read with Lond's and I, however he can only sit still for about 1 min. than he is up and down and into everything again. He loves taking rides on the scooter, in the wagon and totally loves to play with swords.. he is a true boy!

Kingston on the other hand is the sweetest little guy. He will spread the love of kisses to almost anyone, especially to London. She doesn't always appreciate the slobber that comes with the kiss. Kingston is our tickle monster and will try tickling you randomly. He is a character and a silly one at that! He does becomes bashful at times and hides his head & face into me when he meets new people.
Kingston takes my breath away with his silly smile and his adoring love for me.. he is a mamas boy! YEAH! I love my little prince..

McNICOL Cousins

While I was back home to Nor Cal, I managed to grab a shot of all the McNicol Grandchildren/ cousins... We were not even shooting for more than 5 mins. when Kingston took a spill on the asphalt. It was pretty bloody, his nose and mouth were bleeding. Needless to say that was that, we were done taking pictures. Here are a few of the shots:

London was not very happy in the pictures. Umm, yeah she had pee peed her little pants with no extra clothes to change into, right before the shoot. As you can tell she was not thrilled with wet undies & tights.

Mason Lee Lueck

I completed my FIRST Sprint Triathlon Yesterday!

The race was exciting and so rewarding!

I have dreamed of competing in a triathlon for so many years and finally did it!

This however is not my last!

From the moment i signed up for the Tri ... those butterflies begun fluttering inside...

throughout my attempted training ( with two kids & MY schedule)

those butterflies continued to rage within me....

and then followed me to the race day!

After entering the water and pushing through the crowd of athletes the butterflies turned into a drive of competition.... I wanted to finish strong & I wanted to finish at my best!

Over all, out of 529 women I finished at 44

For my oldie age group 30-34

I placed 16/115

Not too shabby...

I am happy with my finish time of 1:31:17

NEXT time I hope to shave 10 mins. off my time!

Anyone up for a Triathlon in the next couple of months?????!

Kingston's Birthday Party!!

We had a great celebration with close family & friends this past weekend to celebrate our little man's 1st Birthday!

It is crazy that a year has already past by so quickly...

Hello Blogger World!!!!

It has sadly been almost 2 months from my last post!! Ahhhhh!
It is seriously amazing how ones home & life can become so busy!

The month of March brought lots & lots of visitors to our home & Las Vegas!

YAY****

We loved every bit of it, but really!

Every week and weekend we were blessed to see so many of our loved ones.... family & friends!

SOOOOOOO.....

For a quick update and proposal:

First the Family update:

Our Little guy... Kingston is full on walking and cruising everywhere.. can I say BUSY?!?!

He says ball, book and makes the cutest little car noises along with snake and dogie barks.. I love this stage.

Oh! and he Chants R-E-B-E-L-S with the arm movements, Ha!

I can just Eat him up!

He is turning ONE this next week... are you kidding me? Yeah! Wow Time flies when your having fun!!!!! And we are!!!

Our little Princess... London is ever so changing and such a mamas girl!

She is now in Sunbeams and comes home from church singing a full on new song and telling the best stories she learned in class.

She has the most amazing imagination and has me playing some kind of play character EVERY day... most of the time I am the wicked witch, stepsister or evil Queen.

I am yet to have my place as the Princess, it is just not going to happen in her story.

London really keeps us busy with questions and talking our ears off...

She helps me see what is important and loves me no matter if I am having one of those days, she is constantly telling me that she loves me and wrapping her arms around my neck.

I love my little cuddle bug!

Robbie, is busy, busy busy working & providing for our little family! He seriously is the hardest worker I know... sooo when we get to spend time with him we are thrilled!!!

Me, myself & I, where do I start? In a nut shell... I have been teaching classes,

being a mom to two busy bugs ,working with the YW (the youth),

training for my triathlon ( less than 4 weeks away),

building my photography Co. (Photography by Marsha Ann) which has been successful thanks to many of you who spread the word;)

All in all Life has just kept the Lueck home busy and fruitful, ahhhh (deep breath)!

Keep posted though we are not finished blogging,

just refreshed and gearing for the upcoming months!

Crazy about Valentines

So... the truth be known, I have not always been CRAZY about Valentines Day....
I always thought it was a cheesy holiday to celebrate, a bit overrated!

With Kid's all things are viewed in a different way!

London & I have had so much fun making her little Valentines for her classmates, goodies galore and decorating our home.

It helps that she gets so giddy and excited over the simplicity of celebrating any holiday.

Project 102

About a year ago my Dad and Judy brought my childhood bed and dresser, which both were in dire need for some TLC. Robbie gave it just that and finished it up for our little girl. It has been perfect except a night stand would be a great addition.

( I never had a matching night stand with the set).

We are HUGE, and I mean Huge Thrifty thrift store goers. The other day the kids and I were at Savers browsing.... and I came across ...you guessed it! A night stand that matches my childhood bed and dresser.

SWEET!

Now we are in the process of fixing it up.

London is little Miss helper, so here she is priming one of the drawers.

I will post the final project when it is completed.

Today at the Park.....

We have been sick at our home this past week, Kingston got the worst of it!( Poor Boy)

With a week stuck in the house I was, London was and I think the boys were all itching to get out and play!

So we went to the only park opened around us. All the parks are being renovated so they are all closed!

This park was under construction for the last year. We are very grateful to have it up and running again!

Catch up...

Rob found a new/ not so new bike for Londs the other day and brought it home for her.

She Loves it, not only was it just her size and a princess little mermaid theme, it was a big girl bike with training wheels!

She needs a bit of practice...... She peddles great only she peddles backwards often too, which brakes.

She , herself, miss London dresses herself these days, it is a fight just to get her ready for the day.

(I am starting to figure out how to go about it and we both win the dress battle!)

Then we have Mr. Kingston who is our little sweetie! (Both Londs & Kings are sweetness cakes)But the little guy pulls at the heart strings... mmm I could squeeze and eat him up all day!

He is always looking for something new!

He refuse's to munch on baby food and insists on eating real tasty food, so we started trying a few things. Mac & Cheese and bananas.

Today I was clearing my camera when I came across a few forgotten photos.

This was Kingstons first snow trip.

We also found out that his new little snow suit was a tad too small... Bummer! These little guys grow so fast!

London was off sledding with the kidds!

This was Christmas Day just breaking into the festives..... It was a great Christmas!

I also realized I didn't post anything about all our festives this season.

Birthday Pictures

A friend of mine asked why I wasn't taking London's 3rd Birthday pictures.

This is why.... because we get a free 8x10 picture at Kiddie Kandids every Birthday until she is 10yrs. Plus we have started a tradition with her w/ "the Block", so I want to continue it until Robbie makes me a block for my own picture taking:)

Here she is #3! London loves to get her picture taken, I think she enjoys having her special time taking photos by someone besides MOM and getting tickled by the feather stick.

A Bit of This & That......

Snow, snow, snow....

Yes! Snow in Vegas!

I am sure this is all old news to you all since it happened last Wed.

My mom said we were all over the news, crazy!

This was the biggest snow fall here in Vegas since 1979! Wowsers!

We do tend to get a bit of a snow around the outskirts of the city, but never downtown, or this much!

Needless to say we Loved it!

London was so excited!

Mom was pretty excited!

Kingston was sleeping through it!

YW/YM was canceled & School the next day!

This was the beginning of the snow fall. I thought this would be all we would see. So I took a picture of it sticking on our antlers and red nose, since it wasn't sticking on the ground.

Playing In Photoshop:

I have finally made the move to photoshop! I first started in Picasa (google), then into Adobe Lightroom and now I have to say I am having a blast with Photoshop... oh my goodness if I would have known what greatness you can do with this program. I am teaching myself all of this photography stuff (with a little wee help from a mentor). I feel that I am starting to see a little progress! Hopefully I can get into some classes at the first of the year... anyhow here are a few moments of our last week in a half.

Teething:
Not only has this little man been teething, his whole mouth is shooting out all sorts of teeth! I took these 5 days ago... he has since broke through two more teeth and we still have 2 working their way through. Kings is such an easy going little man.... not so much these last few weeks. Do I even complain?! Poor Baby Boy!

The Cousins:

We spent a few hours with Davids kids at the park the other day! It was Kingston's first Big boy swing ride!

This picture does not show his excitement, but he loved it! Remember he has been teething, give the boy a smiling break!

THE BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!

We celebrated London's 3rd birthday yesterday with Family and Friends.

It was perfect, we took advantage of the Lied Discovery Children's Museum just down the street from us to help make this special occasion fun & active.
Plus! a huge (+) they set the party up and clean up! Supply a cake and goody bags. Whew, anything to make things easier.

Of course we had to have a little something to munch on to keep the party interesting and add to the social event. Uncle Todd really enjoyed his Turkey dogs, etc!! ;)

Kings was a little tuckered out from the busy morning prepping for the shindig.
Plus Kings is teething, he is working on his second bottom tooth. Whahoo

The one & only... the Birthday Girl

Uncle Todd hanging out with the weeee ones. He was the tattooist. In the little party bags they supplied, fake tattoos were favored. Uncle Todd placed them on half of the kiddos, they loved him!

Thank goodness for homemade goodies, the Birthday cake was not grown up approved! I left the rest, not even worth bringing home!

London & the other kids didn't seem to mind a plate full of sweetness.

Opening gifts was a circus!

It was my first time really having several children (12) come to party and wow, they love to get into the action.

They practically mobbed Londs with gift after gift.

She also had alot of help opening the gifts!

I had to clear them away several times just to get few pictures and to give London some elbow room. It was fun to see all the children get so excited over gifts that were for someone else. Cute!

All in all ,we had a great time and we are still recovering from the exhausting fun today!

Counting the days....

Monday Night for F.H.E we went and picked our Family tree out!

3 YEARS AGO.......

This is just a quick shout out as I could make this post go on & on & on.......

The story of our little princess begun 3 years ago today!

Our first born, our little girl arrived 7lbs 4 oz

London Olivia Lueck

Words will never describe the feelings we had on your arrival! Love, love, love filled our hearts and our lives have never been the same since!

Dad held you first. He was with you ever minute after you arrived, down the halls of the Hospital, in the nursery and back to me where I held you for the first time.

There was no greater peace knowing you had arrived healthy and well.

The first moments we shared with you brought great emotions and humility to our hearts.

Everything about you was perfect! I remember your brown hair, amazing big eyes, full lips and how your sweetness filled the room. We stared at you for hours in amazement.

You continued to grow so fast and amaze us in your interests,

as well as your brilliant, silly personality!

There has always been a special friendship between us that I hope lasts forever. You always tell both Dad & I that we are your best friend! You are an incredible friend to everyone around you. You are our social butterfly!

Happy Thanksgiving!

LU Lu & I made these funky turkey's today! I have no idea if there is possibly any white feathered turkey's, but in London's world there are! We have Mama (Shelly) and baby (Phoenix).

Our little Pilgrim couple & Indian made out of toilet paper rolls:) We heart recycled things, we didn't make them....a crafty couple in our ward made them for our party last weekend. Cute & simple though!

It's been one of those days........

Miss London tuckered out on me at the table tonight.

She was so hungry returning home from our Ward Thanksgiving/Christmas party ?????

You ask how?

( because she only ate a few pieces of turkey and was off having fun, she never really even ate, unless you consider candy canes and orange's filling food),

so I made her a quick bowl of noodles to munch on before hitting the hay.

I don't think she even had a bite, she was out!

This is what happens around 5:30 pm when she doesn't get a nap in during the day. She didn't even get a chance to crash on me mid evening because we had been busy prepping for photos for the ward party, making food for the party, running errands and just goofing off!

Wow has this busy ball of energy sprouted!

She is miss overly helpful, a great helper just a bit ambitious.

I never would have imagined I would be so challenged with a very intelligent, witty, charming little person. She keeps us busy (sigh), but really it's more like we need to keep her busy or she gets bored and gets a bit naughty. I think it's the age or else I keep convincing myself it is.

One moment I am adoring her and she is the perfect angel, the next she is tearing our house apart, playing way too rough with Kingston and I am above my chin frustrated with her.

Why the emotional roller coaster rides?

I want my consistent little sweetness back.

All in all she is miss independent and that is that!

Bazaar, but a super fashion diva here, a bit like the Fancy Nancy smanshie stuff. Over the top!

There are so many stories to share about my silly girl, but where to start?

Put aside all of the challenges and all are experiencing with her, she is the most super duper girl ever! We are so blessed to have her in our family, she completes us and I love, love and adore her to pieces. My conclusion... It's my test of patience, humility, unfaltering love, keeping an open mind and looking outside the box! Lets hope I pass the test someday:) LOL

UNLV Basketball Season Ticket Holder....
Those of you who know my husband, know that he was in heaven when his UNLV Basketball season tickets came in the mail! Better yet, he and his BFF got their tickets together.(oh my they are crazy) Yes! It is that time of year when everything revolves around BB! He has London all hyped up to go to a BB game with him in the near future and before long he will have Kings trained hooting & hollering "REBELS", like he has Londs:)

S-L-A-C-K-E-R!!
I know it has been a very long time since I have posted, and Halloween was last month, my oh! my!

Here we have our little Peter Pan & Tinkerbell!

Don't they make quite the pair. I couldn't bring myself to buy costumes this year, so I made them! London already had the wings, I just made a few additions and changes. For her dress we found it for a couple of bucks and I added sleeves, decor and sized it down for her little petite frame. Peter Pan's costume was created from a picture... I have to say it was so fun creating and making something from nothing! I heart homemade costumes, they Rock!!!

The original plan was our Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Wendy(Me)& Captain Hook (Robs), but I didn't make enough time to make our costumes. I have had alot on our plate with projects never ending and yadada yadda yadda! So Happy Halloween from us!

A Peek Of Our Week.......

I have been busy with a great opportunity to practice my art. A great friend of ours is the Tennis head coach of a well respected High School here in Vegas. He has asked me to attend the tennis matches and take pictures of both the girls & boys Tennis team for the end of the season slide show, that I too will put together for them. It has been a great experience to familiarize myself with my camera. It has also been fun stepping into the world of High School and reminiscing of the good ole times (not that I played Tennis, but other sports and such). Any who, I will post more on my photo blog that I have been withholding for quite sometime now. In due time I will post and allow viewers.

Decorating was fun with London, a bit longer to do with my little helper.... but so worth seeing her excitement. This is one of my most favorite times of the year; I heart Halloween and fall festive stuff!

Yummy Pumpkin Bread(w/chocolate chips) I love the aroma baking & filling every crevice of my home as well as my tummy. Scrumptious!!!

Conference was a bit challenging to listen to with me, myself & I; and two needy bugs. Rob was still in SD, so needless to say I tried catching all that I could in the 4 sessions. London did a pretty good job listening I have to admit, and I kept her busy with little projects.... such as this one. My sister in-law, Keli (the most amazing crafty gal) has got us loving and doing our own "Glitter Nails". As it proves, London fell asleep in the middle of our little nail project. I didn't mind as it was easier to do her nails without alot of movement on her part. You'd think she was in a salon all relaxed and pampered.

The best part of the day is when they are taking naps... I need just that speck of the day to re-group and keep myself together, and it isn't but maybe 45 mins. of a re-group. Thank Goodness Dad came home yesterday! Yeah!!!!!!!

I Left My Pictures in South Dakota!

I know this sounds a bit funny, but all my pics are in South Dakota with Rob & our Laptop. He won't be home for another week so I will have to post some more of our trip when he gets home. The kids & I returned to the city early to fulfill a photo commitment, so here we are without my honey and the bugs dear daddy. London asks me constantly" When is daddy going to come home?" or when we arrive home from running errands, " Is daddy home yet mom?" Bless her little heart she misses her daddy! ME TOOO!

Just a bit of our Day..... I have the perfect picture of Kingston marking his 5th month... But, it is in South Dakota. Sooo here is an updated photo of our little prince. He brings us so much joy and lights up every time London gives him any attention. Lately she has been singing to him, and he loves it! While we were in SD we were coming back from town and Kings was just sooo upset... Londs started singing him songs and he stopped to listen, once she stopped he started crying again. Soo sweet! I love those moments!

We had our Buddy Tae this afternoon and London posed and said "mom take a picture of me like this!" She was so excited to have Tae come and visit, we read books, sang songs and just worked giggles out of the boys. Once again they are only a week apart, so it is so fun having them together!

Back On The Farm........

We love the Farm, South Dakota and Grandma & Grandpa! We took a last minute trip back to the Farm. You can't beat a $29 flight on Allegiant Air-SCORE! What a beautiful time of year to visit and to get out of the desert heat. I tell so many people about the farm and I just can't describe it in words, so this time I hope to capture the feel and vision of the amazing Dakotas on film.

The Wonders & Likes of Visiting the Farm.......

This is the road that I love to run on leaving the house. I love breathing the fresh air and racing the cows.

The corn fields tracing the road way, almost ready for harvest.

Seeing equipment and gadgets set aside for retirement on neighboring farms & wondering the history they once knew.
Watching hard working Farmers at work.
Little girls who make my passion possible by letting me practice with her & our surroundings.
The wide open spaces & autumn colors popping out in the fields and trees.

Plethora of veggies and fruits for canning, jamming and eating fresh from the garden. ( Lond's is helping Grandma with the wild plums for jamming)

Little boys who bring so much joy.

Little girls who play contently and are clean for this very moment.

The dirt that makes a little girl happy to dig in and run freely on. This is what London looks like the moment she walks out the door to play... she plays hard!
The road I run on that leads me back to the farm where my little bugs are waiting with Grandma. The road that takes us to the railroad tracks on the four wheeler that London asks to ride to. But best yet, it is the road that takes you away from the crazy city life and back home for my cute husband. Enjoying moments like these with with his parents , my in-laws & Grandma & Grandpa Lueck! London was my ultimate helper today decorating our apartment and making a cake for the birthday boy. Haaaa Ha! We attempted a basketball cake, it turned out more like a pumpkin cake. LOL It was all in the experience! She gets so excited to celebrate birthdays & is counting down the many, many days she has until it is her Birthday! Silly girl!

Playing with Photography........

One of my biggest passions & ultimate interest these days
is photography. I love looking at all the many blogs & sites concerning photography, the creativity of making art through catching the momment of individuals. I too want to join the world of photo journalism and have begun getting my feet wet. I have a couple who have approched me to take their engagement pictures, this friday. I am sooo thrilled and nervous all at the same time! I have really only taken pictures of my family not others(nail bitting). So many things have fell into my hands these last couple of weeks to push me forward with my love for photography, so I decided to take the leap. YEARS............

Where has the time gone?!

It is always amazing to me how we experience life in fast mode. Looking back on these last 6 years I think of so many things; the great & awe-inspiring experiences we have had together, the hard challenges that have made us better and stronger and the hopes and dreams we continue to make for our family.

Seriously, no matter what milestones have brought us to this very moment in our lives; juggling a toddler and a newborn, church callings that take chunks of time and work to help us survive. With all that life takes and demands, there is nothing more refreshing than seeing Robbie walk through the door, seeing him makes me so excited still. I feel bad for him, I am a needy wife and I love to have his attention and time. I love my time with him! Robbie is one of the most talented individuals I know. I have said this time and time before, but he is in no doubt so creative, an amazing father and husband & very loyal. I love him more today than I ever thought I could the day we were married. He is my rock, my friend and the perfect person for me! Rob, I Love your guts to pieces!!!

Little boys are soooo much fun! I love accessorizing!I have come to find that the best way to add a bit of pizazz with the boys are.... shoes, ties and hair. We don't have alot of hair to work with these days, but the day he has the hair, you can believe it I will find a fun style for my little man.
Robbie and I had fun with him today as we pre-dressed Kings for church. I found this little man suit at Burlington Coat Factory the other week for $3.99, no joke! It needed a few adjustments in the length of the pants and here in Vegas you don't do long sleeves, so I had to shorten the sleeves as well. He will only fit in this for a bit longer so we wanted to make sure we took a pic of him in it. Just like the saying" take a picture it will last longer". HAhahaha I crack myself up!

Two lil' Buddies
Here we have our little guys, Kingston & Tae. The other day we had Tae over so his hot mama could get her hair done. It was fun to finally get another snap shot of these little buddies together. We took their picture when they were just weeks old (Tae is a week older than Kings) so they are doing so much of the same things, it makes it pretty fun watching them both together. Tae however is a busy little body already rolling over. Kingston attempts it a bit, but chooses to chill. He is our little chill guy! I don't mind it one bit as I already have my hands full with Londs. Whew, busy times!

Serious Sk8eegirl.....

Our little girlie girl amazes us all the time, as all children do. This is a recent, just over the weekend clip of London on a mini scooter at the skate park. If it were her choice she would have the real skateboard to practice on; but with her so little, Robbie and I agreed that she should start on something more stable with wheels and then she can graduate to a skateboard. I love our little ball of energy! London has so much enthusiasm and zeal for life. Robbie and I want more than anything to have our children experience pretty much everything this life can offer.

Story: As I was at the park walking with the kids; Kingston in his baby Bjorn and Londs in the running stroller, we happened to walk by the skate park and I hear this little voice from the stroller say " I want to do that mom!", " I wish I could ride a skateboard". No Joke! I was taken back by her wish as she is totally a girlie girl to the T. I said " sure honey, one day we'll have to try it". There is not one thing you say that she forgets unless it is eat your veggies & time for bed, she could forget about those suggestions any given day. She remembers things so well and won't let you forget that she remembers them!

Anyhow, this last week Robbie brings home a mini scooter that a friend of the family had given him. He brought it home and then was off to do work, all while London was taking her nap. When she awoke she saw the scooter and in no time asked, "mama, can I try this?", me: Of course honey! A few minutes went by, " mama can I have this?". Knowing that it was indeed for her I smiled, chuckled and said, "sure sweetie, lets wait for dad to get home and we can see what he wants to do with it. ( I wanted Robbie to gift it to her). A few minutes later after taking a few pushes around the kitchen she then says "I want to take this and skate with the boys at the park", I knew that was coming next.

The next couple of days after she continued to remind me of the park and skating.. she wanted to go, the only thing we needed was pads and a helmet for protection. Friday morning came, we ran a few errand and ended up at Target for stuff and she was persistent to get herself some pads and a SKATEBOARD, so she could go skate! We bought the pads and helmet minus the skateboard. We almost bought one for her, as they do sale little boards at Target (just her size), but we want her to be comfortable on wheels moving and grooving first! So after her nap we were off to skate in the hot and that day windy conditions. She was on top of the world!

So for those of you that know London well, you know how princess crazy, dress up queen and all girl she is; I am happy to see that she has a well rounded personality, and is willing and wanting to try different things. You go girl!

Favorite person (outside family) This is difficult to answer, because I have soo many wonderful people in my life, they are all my favorite person. Each person is a favorite in a different way! Does family include in-laws, because I adore my mother in law, she always knows when to call and lights up the room she walks into.. she is a true friend!

Favorite food? Japanese (Hibachi) & Mexican of course!

Bumbo Practice
I know! Bumbos are for 3-14 month babies, but Kingston loves to sit up more so than lying down. I can't argue with that, because I would much rather have a wide view of my surroundings than a view of only looking up or to the side. Soo because he supports his head so well I decided I would give him Bumbo practice... London gets a kick out of it and puts her little chair next to him and chills.
I love watching both of my little bugs playing together in the limited ways that they can at this point. Kingston coos and smiles with London, and London asks; "Mom what is he saying"? I make up something simple and then ask her if she can remember baby talk, I think she is catching on because Kingston is starting to say some pretty silly things as London will translate for him. London gives endless kisses to her little brother and trys to always make him happy when he cries! She is a great Big Sister!!!

Keeping Cool
Yeah! It is hot here in Vegas, so we are always looking for creative things to keep cool. One thing about Las Vegas is the Leisure Services around the City. The resources for Parks and Recreation are limitless. We have several pools close by to keep cool in. Today we went to our favorite pool park, it is perfect with a beach entrance, slides and not much of a crowd! Did I mention it is FREE?! Who could ask for a better reason to play in the water and have fun?! London loves it as the kid area goes to 2 1/2 feet and she can play, splash and pretend like shes swimming without the threat of deep water. Kingston was just chill! I carried him in my Baby Bjorn, and he slept the whole time!

Happy 2 Months

Kingston is 2 months todate! In many ways I cannot believe how fast time has flown, in other ways it seems like yesterday I was still huge waiting for his arrival! I can't imagine life without him in our family. Although it has been a slight adjustment with two needy people, I wouldn't trade anything for the moments I have with my bugs,(even though a few hours alone would be nice once in a while.) I am grateful that Kingston is such an easy going baby, it makes everything that much enjoyable!

We love each little milestone, Kingston is such a happy boy and is always smiling his BIG smile! These last couple of weeks he has been cooing up a storm. I was hoping to grab it all in one video, but with all my luck my memory card was full before I could get his jibber jabber stuff.

So for all the grandparents who are far away and for our cute Daddy who is still in Sacramento, here is a moment of our smilie boy, and a little bit of jibber jabber below.

Mendocino
It is always amazing to be by the Ocean. I love the Northern California Coast and the many beauties we can enjoy! Hope to be back soon! We are leaving back to the dry dessert on Saturday without Rob:( He will still be working on the bathroom for another week. I have got to get back home and get on a routine with these little bugs! Busy Times

We are still in NorCal playing! Rob is working hard on this bathroom for my Dad so we will be here another week in a half. It has been great spending time with family, having a pool to play in and of course Grandpa and Grandma time!!!

Cousin Alyssa

I haven't posted anything on my little bro's baby girl Alyssa, because I didn't have any pictures. Alyssa is exactly 2 weeks apart from Kingston. Proud parents, Lance and Jessica McNicol. She is a petite little girl, next to Kingston she looks even more petite. Kingston is our little teddy bear growing healthy and strong. I had my brother Lance step on the scale with Kingston on Saturday and Kingston is already 13 lbs. I love having a meaty newborn, he is already so cuddly. Back in NORCAL!!

It is so good to be back home..... we are back in Nor Cal for a few weeks. Robbie is helping my Dad with several projects around his home (mainly a master bath remodel), but has been helping head on a 38 foot water slide/waterfall, a project my dad started a month ago but can't speak Spanish to his workers so things don't get done correctly or at all! Thank goodness for Robbie, his Spanish and handy man skills!!!

Camping Memorial Day weekend at Dillon's Beach

Some would say gutsy, others would say crazy, but yes we ventured out on the cold Memorial Day weekend with our newborn camping. Kingston and I stayed in the heated motor home pretty much the majority of the time besides a walk on the freezing beach and roasting a few marshmallows for yummy smores. It was great to see little miss lu lu adventure the outdoors and spend time with family.Our camera died the first day we were there, so this is all the photos I have from our camera. KINGSTON'S BLESSING
We had the perfect opportunity to bless Kingston in our home while we had family and friends in town. Unfortantly, we didn't get many pictures, so these will have to do! We have been blessed with such a special little boy, you can feel his sweetness as you hold him. He is almost 4 weeks this friday and has more awake time everyday. It is amazing how fast you forget the new born stages... which makes it fun and new again even the second time around.
Kingston is a chunk, chunk of a man, when he was only 2 weeks he weighed 10pounds and grew another inch (22 in).. I can only imagine how much he weighs now. We are happy to have our healthy little boy and have him complete our family for this time. This last month has been filled with so many exciting changes, we are looking forward to more in the near future!!! I love my family and am so grateful for the many things I learn from each of them!All I can say is BLESSINGS!!!

ROBBIE'S GRADUATION..........

We are so proud of Robbie! Saturday Robbie Graduated with a Biological Science Degree from UNLV " Lets Go Rebels"!! It has been such a long, but sucessful road to accomplishing his goal thus far... Robbie still plans on applying to Dental School so we may have more school ahead of us in another year. Congrats babe for such an accomplishment, love, love, love you!

All of Robbie's family came into town to celebrate, as well as my Dad, his wife Judy, my Mom & her husband Mitch. It was great to have family come and celebrate such an important event for our family! Thank you for all of your support and love, thanks for traveling so far to be here with us and sitting in a long 3 hour ceremony, thanks for all your hoot and hollas! Thank you for being such an awesome family!!!!

There really isn't anything more interesting than my little bugs to blog these days. Last week Kingston took his newborn photos. Although they are cute, I was not happy with my sitting and ultimate outcome. I felt a bit rushed and didn't get exactly what I had envisioned. My Sweeties!!!!
Yes, I am a proud mommy! I love my little bugs. London has been doing great with little Kingston, she is such a great helper. Although she has had some minor mommy withdrawals. When I am feeding Kingston, she asks for big girl milk so she "can drink milk with him." Londs will sit at my feet when I am feeding him and asks to be held for a little while when my hands are free of the little guy. She loves to cuddle and takes every opportunity to do so! I am proud of her as she has taken on such a big girl role and goes to the bathroom with little help, grabs things for me when I need something and kisses and kisses her little brother to death. Here she is tickling him. I love these two so much!!!

It's a Smile
It's a smile! I know, I have heard that babies don't smile at such a young age, and that it's just gas.... they are WRONG! This little guy is always smiling and making the best faces! London gets a kick out of him, my mom told her the other day that angels are playing with him and talking with him. You could see her little mind working and processing what grandma said as she watched him smile and make sweet noises. He is such a sweetheart, you can really feel his little spirit fill our home!

KINGSTON MARK LUECK

He is here!!! Yeah! Friday April 25, 2008 at 6:16am he arrived a whopping 8lbs 4oz , 21 inches. The delivery was quick, however the preparation for the c-section was 2 hours long and my recovery is still in progress. Everything went well, we have a healthy baby boy, a happy big sister and a proud daddy.... and I am doing great!

We brought Kingston home Sunday morning. I am not one to hang out in the hospital, I get restless. However, this time I had such a great experience and my over all stay was great I could not have asked for a better Dr, nurses or facility. I just could not wait to take our little guy home!!!

I told Rob that things feel so complete at this time of our lives. I love my little family, Kingston has made his place in our home and our hearts at the perfect time! We are so grateful that we have Grandma McNicol here with us to help out... I love my mom and am so grateful for her love and support as our family breaks into a great new adventure of life. It is so exciting that our family is growing!

OVER DUE AnD VENTING!
YES! & NO! Yes I m still pregnant and.... still NO baby boy in my arms! This has been the longest week of my life! I have been dilated to a one for the last week with no progress. My cervix is still thick and still no progress. Ughhhh! I cannot help but feel frustration flow through my body as this week has gone by. I have walked and walked, tried other natural suggested options and nothing. I have felt contractions throughout last weekend and some this week and thought, hmm this is it! Unfortunately not! I have a wonderful Doctor who is very optimistic and has cheered me on the whole way and supported me in my decision to try this delivery VBAC. Tuesday I meet with my Dr. and still no change! Unfortunately after discussing options and circumstances it looks as if this delivery will be another c-section.
I was crushed and disappointed, but my doctor would still say, you have a few more days lets see if you'll go into labor. I of course was very emotional.. poor guy and felt as if my stubborn body was winning. I had felt so liberated that I was making a choice for me and my body to have this baby differently than things happened with London.
I have to tell you the sweetness of my little princess. As I was all emotional at the Dr's office, trying to hold back tears I had my face covered with my hands and all of a sudden I felt a hand touch my leg ( mind you I am sitting on the table just after being checked with the lovely paper blanket draped over my nude body) I looked down to see who was holding my leg and little miss London was looking up at me with her beautiful big blue eyes with the most concerned look I have ever seen her have and said "mom, it's okay", everything is going to be okay." I am so grateful for my little person who touches me with the purest love and makes me feel complete when I am broken at times. When we got into the car.. me still crying, London again assures me that everything is going to be alright and asks me to give her my hand, " I will make you better!" I love her! I am so grateful for her in our little family, she is soo cool!
Well, I went home depressed and an emotional wreck. I felt alone as if this situation was out of my control. I knelt down and addressed my heartache to heavenly father. With instant comfort and assurance that everything would be alright, I knew I was not alone. The next morning with fervent prayer I wanted to know if it was possible to have this baby the way I wanted to have him! In humility and love, I knew that my desires as pure and simple, where not the ideal. Since that morning prayer I have felt confident that making the decision to go forward with another c-section is necessary.
My Dr. and I discussed that possibly my pelvis is to narrow and the baby cannot drop far down enough to thin the cervix as needed. For whatever reason, things are not working as we hoped and he cannot let me go over 41 weeks, it is just not healthy for the baby, the placenta and for myself as I have the scar tissue from the previous cesarean. Things with London never happened, she never even dropped nor did I even dilate, they induced me after she was 4 days over her due date and was measuring smaller than previous weeks.. so they induced and things didn't go as planned.
I don't know the reasons, but I know I have tried all that I could, my Dr. has been patient and we discussed all that we could do with my previous situation and with our situation now. If any of you reading this and wondering if he could just induce me, the answer is no! Too many risks! If I was dilating and I was a three he could insert a monitor on the baby's head and regulate the baby and uterus and start me on a light patosine, making sure there was not a rupture in the uterus and the baby was fine. That isn't even an option as I am having no progress and even stripping the membranes was impossible this last Tuesday.
So, all in all I have not gone into labor, not even feeling any more contractions.. nothing! We have set a time to take this little guy tomorrow morning at 6am. My mom is flying out tonight so she can be here with Londs and see little Jr. I am nervous but so excited to have a healthy baby boy in my arms!
For those of you that have called to check in, Thank you!! It means a lot to know I have loyal friends who love me. Sorry I have been a bum and have not answered the calls. I just haven't felt like talking about things and then explaining it over and over again. I love you all and thanks for all your prayers and thoughts! I will keep you posted on everything, especially on the arrival of baby boy Lueck!

I never thought about taking maternity pictures with London, now I wish I would have. When you register with Baby R Us for the baby, they give you a free 8x10 maternity picture. So, I found the offer the other day while cleaning through everything.. (that nesting thing) and decided to take pictures with Londs and the belly.

Today we did it! It was fun! We always go to Kiddie Kandids for our pictures, if it be for London or even for our family photos. They are so good with the kids, they have so many options and don't have a sitting fee, we love it! These turned out okay! I love London in the pictures, she is so sweet and sincere! The more I got to thinking about maternity pictures, the thought came to me that most people take them earlier on. This little guy is going to be here anyday (crossing my fingers) and here I am taking pictures. HAAA! I had to laugh at myself!

PROJECTS
Here are a few projects we have been working on. We finally finished my childhood bed for little miss London. I grew up in this bed from the age two through high school, now we are passing it onto my little princess. It has been fun working on it, well..... really Robbie has done the majority of the work... sanding, priming and fixing the side rails on the drawers. Lots of work!!! We still need to have it painted, but it will be painted white just as it looks.
I have kept myself busy with a few of my own projects as you see below. I have made birp clothes, decorated Londs letters, bow making and making gifts for friends having little princesses. It has been fun! I am just getting ready for this baby boy to get here! Rock ON!

Two post in one
My little Ant Hunter...

London loves to be outside. What little toddler would oppose the outdoors, not this one! Everywhere we go she is picking up little leaves, sticks, rocks and gifting them to me. The other day we were at the store and she asked if I would get her this bug magnifying catcher. I asked her "what are you going to do with this?" Thinking she had no clue to what it was for, she replied "to catch ants mom!" Alright, I was taken back as I thought she wanted the big blue magnifer for her blue collection. That is another post!

To my surprise she knew what it was and what she was going to do with it. Soo, as soon as we woke up from our nap we set out to find ants! To our disapointment we found the ground to be antless. I didn't even think that it would be too cold still. Robbie gently reminded me of that small detail. We even left a popcicle out to grab their attention, but still the next day no ants. London is now just waiting for the day we can go ant hunting!

Fourteen Days..... and Counting!!!

My friend Keli and I are due within just days from each other, so we thought it would be fun to get a belly shot. We are both expecting boys. This is Keli's first and we are so excited for her!

Soooo... fourteen days and counting! I went into my appointment today and so far nothing much is happening. My doctor said I have dropped a little, but a little is 2 cm.. not much! I am really hoping we can have this baby differently this time. London was C-section and I have a new doctor this time around who is willing to let me try a VBAC. I hope all goes successful!
Here are a few recent pictures of the belly. I have had several people ask if I am due any day... What?! Do I look that huge? When I tell them we still have weeks they act surprised and say are you sure your not having twins?! I love how people communicate with pregnant women!!!!

Easter 2008

Easter was exhausting this year! Besides having a swelling belly and being tired, Robbie was sick all weekend along with little miss London. I know, every time I post I make mention that our sick infested family is ill again. I have no idea why this season has been a sick one for us, but we tend to catch everything that this sick season has to offer!
So, with Robs laid up in bed, Londs and I tried our best to manage. Saturday evening we decorated Easter eggs Princess style!!! Rob came out to help, but we didn't get pictures just video! Sunday morning I was the camera man and videographer, which does not work well. So I just have a few pictures of the Easter basket unveiling. London was a quick one this year... she was out getting into all the baskets before I could even get the camera ready! It is fun to see her get excited about each holiday and what it has to offer.
It was special to talk with London about what Easter is all about besides all the fun foo foo stuff. It amazes me how much she already knows about the Savior and that she complies to the things I teach her about the spiritual part of life. I appreciate Easter being on the Sabbath day when you take the time to go to church with your family and feel of the spirit that attending church has to offer.
Here we have our photo shoot after church, all dressed up! As you can see, London was not very thrilled with picture taking. I had to post some of the faces and poses she made... she cracks me up!!! Funny girl!
This dress has a special place in London's heart, she had to have it!!!! It was a rare find at TJ Max and every time we would go back in the last month she had to find her dress and try it on! The second time we went back to find it, it was no where to be found... needless to say she cried and cried and said " mom that was my most favorite dress, we should have taken it home last time!" I felt so bad! So, to my amazement we found it the third time just to see if it happened to be there, because she kept talking about her princess dress we didn't get. We found it! The same dress, the only dress and only in her size. She even got posessive when we went into the changing room to try it on again. The lady helping us in the changing room took the dress along with a few others to count them before going into the dressing room, London lost it! She told the lady that it wasn't her dress over and over and started crying. I was taken back by her response (trying not to laugh) I explained that she wasn't taking her dress. I guess she didn't want to loose it again, because she kept asking me... "can we take this dress home this time?!"(sigh) I guess in all, it was meant for this princess!

These are a few flowers and bows I made to coordinate with her Easter dress, I love making my own bows, clippies and accessories. Little girls are so fun to dress up!

Baby Layla's Blessing, Family and a few adventures........

Old news is better than no news, right?! Almost two weeks ago we made our way up to the cold Utah climate for a family gathering, baby Layla's blessing. It was a quick trip, up Friday evening and back Sunday afternoon. It was so worth every moment we had with family. Upon our arrival I came down with a stinky cold, rather a pain all over! I was sick and pregnant, what better shape to travel.. if you know what I mean. It was a great time to all be together for such a wonderful occasion.
We stopped in Mapleton and stayed with the Tuttles. Ty and Tiff are always so awesome to see. Thanks for the warm bed and yummy food! Tiff took Londs for a ride on Spot, which she loved! It was so great to feel the cold, see the beautiful mountains topped with white snow and enjoy fresh air!
Baby Layla's blessing was perfect and such a great time to reflect on the blessings we have been given, family and the restored gospel. It makes me so excited to have this little guy join our family. It is always humbling to see a worthy priesthood hold a small infant in hand and give a name and blessing. What an appealing sight!

Singing In The Rain!!!!

Need I say More?! Vegas doesn't get much rain, but when we do get rain, we run outside singing and splashing in the puddles! London loves her little umbrella, she asks everyday if it is raining so she can use it. She is my sweet pea! I don't have an umbrella mainly because it doesn't rain enough to pack and store something so useless and secretly, I love the rain and I love to feel it on my face and skin, so why have an umbrella? London cannot get over why Dad has an umbrella and mom doesn't. As we were walking outside to play in the rain, London says " Mom I need to buy you an umbrella." LOL She is always so thoughtful of others and such a sweetheart!
We love when nature brings sweetness to the earth and makes our typical day full of surprises!

CATCH UP!!

What can I say?! More or less..I am either flooding you with updates or in a dry famine! I cannot seem to keep up with myself these days! This last week has come and gone in a flash! I hope everybody's Valentines Day was splended.
We had a relaxing evening together. Robbie had me on the sweetest little letter clue hunt in the morning, where both London and I ended up at our storage shed where little gifts were waiting for us. He even made us a cute little CD wishing us a Happy Valentines Day and a little song! I cried every letter read! It was perfect and so creative, I could not have asked for anything more! Where he found the time to put it all together is another question.. he had three tests in two days with work and church obligations, wow amazing! He is adored by not only myself, but Londs loves her daddy so much, she calls him our prince. Love it!
Anyhow, with all school assignments, YW demands, teaching obligations and just the craziness of the daily demands all put to the side we were able to spend a day with Jena (a former companion from the mission), her mother and her adorable little Shaelie. Jena stopped into town for the day and we spent sometime shopping, having dinner and taking the girls down to the strip for some entertainment. The Bellagio water show is always exciting and fun. The weather is incrediable here and it was a perfect little evening for water shows, walking through the beautiful gardens and Gelato!!! Thanks for the memories and letting us hang out with you girls!

Here we are in the glories of motherhood! I think we were all a little tired from the days activities. Shaelie giving us a hang loose sign while London is wondering what is going on! So much fun! Jena is also expecting this July ****YAY****. This is such a fun time in life everyone is having babies, babies, babies and we are doing it together. Go GIRLS!!!!

Little Buddies.....

I love my little girl... I cannot believe how fast she is growing up, and how she has a mind of her own. Yes! You most likely noticed her princess crown in every picture, she is a princess everyday and has to wear her crown everywhere. I don't even notice anymore until someone asks her "if she is a princess for the day." I just smile and laugh inside. She tells me now days "I'm not London"... I'm tinkerbell and you are rose (sleeping beauty) and dad is our prince! Thanks Dad.. it all started with the Disney on Ice show, now she is princess crazy!

HERE YOU GO!!!

We are breaking into week 30, whew! Ten more weeks of growing, sleepless nights and every blessed thing that comes with the beautiful world of a swollen body. This pregnancy has been great, I really have no complaints besides now! I am getting tired!

I have officially gained 24 pounds (feeling it) with pleanty of weeks ahead to pack more growing baby weight on! I just don't understand how women can keep up with more than one toddler and do it all?! It sure keeps time flying by fast. With that said, both Robbie and I realized we have hardly any pictures of me and this little guy growing. Sunday we did it, we took a few pictures. Don't ask me what I'm wearing, it is something I threw together that felt comfortable and fit! I have a hard time spending money on maternity clothes. You go through so many different stages of sizes and honestly I can't find maternity clothing that fits me right anyway! So why buy maternity clothes? I tend to find clothing on clearance that is a few sizes bigger than I would buy and try to pull it off. Anyhow enough about my clothing saga, on to this post!
Many have asked how the pregnancy is going and if I am getting bigger. I am doing great! I am still teaching my cycle classes and senior class at the gym. I can't give it up yet! I love teaching! Yes, I am getting bigger and still growing! All that matters to me is that this little guy is healthy!
We are still stuck on three names... Boston, Kingston and Phoenix. London seems to have one choosen. She refers to her little brother as Phoenix...how did she decide that one? We are still yet in the decission making. Names are just so hard for me. Lets hope in the next couple of weeks we can decide, family members keep on us!
